Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree preferably in Journalism and Communication/ English/Public Relations, or a relevant field not less than 2nd Division/Class in any public Examination (essential);
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement an effective communication strategy that includes media outreach and content creation;
∎ Write, edit and distribute content, including publications, annual reports, speeches, and other promotional material that communicates the organization's activities;
∎ Write and edit digital communication contents including selecting suitable photographs for publishing in various online platforms like website, social media, Instagram etc.
∎ Prepare articles on various events organized at different locations of SOS Children's Villages Bangladesh for publishing in Collaboration Platform of SOS Children's Villages International;
∎ To liaise with media outlets to ensure that the appropriate information and messages are reaching the public, including preparing and editing press releases and ensuring media coverage of events organized by SOS Children's Villages Bangladesh;
∎ Prepare, modify articles, success stories, human touch stories, campaign content as per the organizational need.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Relevant experience of 2 years (essential);
∎ Excellent speaking writing and editing skills in Bangla and English;
∎ Highly skilled in computer applications, especially MS office packages, email and related business and communication tools including graphics designing.
∎ Having knowledge of Child Rights & Protection issues and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) will be an added advantage;
∎ Good knowledge of creative design and content;
∎ Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
∎ Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
Salary:
∎ As per existing Organization Policy.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per existing Organization Policy.
∎ After probation period of 06 (Six) months, upon confirmation, incumbent will be entitled to receive regular Salary Scale along with Festival Bonus, Contributory Provident Fund and Gratuity, Children's Education Allowance, Group Insurance (Death & Accidental) as per existing policy of the organization.
