Responsibilities & Context:
Academic Responsibilities:
- Theoretical and practical teaching to diploma/undergraduate nursing students.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and teaching aids.
- Conduct class tests, quizzes, and examinations as per the academic schedule.
- Supervise student clinical practice in hospitals/community settings.
- Maintain students' performance records and provide feedback.
Administrative Duties:
- Assist in organizing academic events, workshops, and seminars.
- Participate in curriculum development and syllabus review.
- Attend faculty meetings and contribute to academic planning.
- Help in maintaining discipline and student counseling.
Clinical Supervision:
- Guide students during clinical rotation in hospitals or health centers.
- Ensure patient safety and professional conduct of students.
- Evaluate students' clinical skills using standard checklists.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated with modern nursing practices and teaching methods.
