• Valid registration from Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) – Mandatory
• BLS/ACLS Certification (Preferred)

• Effective communication and team coordination
• Knowledge of surgical and infection control protocols
• Ability to manage resources and multitask under pressure

Job Summary:

Evercare Hospital Chattogram is seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse In-Charge – Operation Theatre to oversee and coordinate all OT-related activities. The role involves clinical supervision, staff management, inventory control, infection prevention, and ensuring compliance with surgical protocols to deliver safe and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure OT readiness, equipment functionality, and adherence to safety protocols
• Supervise OT nursing team including scrub and circulating nurses
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and CSSD for seamless procedures
• Monitor and implement infection control practices
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and support hospital accreditation efforts
• Participate in budgeting, training, and policy development
• Ensure shift handovers and interdepartmental collaboration
