Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or PhD in Economics, Agricultural Economics or a related social or economic science discipline.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the project MEL/CLA program using gender and youth inclusive methodologies aligned to WorldFish and donor MEL / Collaborate Learn Adapt (CLA) systems.
∎ Lead the development of an MEL/CLA plan aligned with the market systems approach.
∎ Provide technical assistance and oversight for the project's data collection efforts, including the baseline, end line or periodic assessments and surveys, in addition to management of external data collection and research agencies.
∎ Maintain an efficient and easy-to-use information management system for data generated by the project.
∎ Lead in planning, facilitating and conducting data analysis efforts.
∎ Establish CLA forums and collaborate with communication staffs in the documentation of success stories and lessons.
∎ Contribute to the writing of project publications; obtaining inputs from the team to develop high quality dissemination materials, including peer reviewed publications, technical briefs, reports, case studies, blogs etc. to a wide audience.
∎ Work closely with the WorldFish and donor monitoring and evaluation teams, and share achievements and results for organizational learning.
∎ Strengthen project and private sector staff capacity on performance indicators, documentation and reporting.
∎ Facilitate evidence based collaborative learning and adaptation activities and share lessons and facilitate collaboration between other donor and WorldFish projects.
∎ Contribute to and participate in donor global and country MEL/CLA communities of practice.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years of overall experience in the relevant field with 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
∎ Network of partnerships with advanced research institutions.
∎ Proven skills in applying economics and quantitative approaches.
∎ Demonstrate success in working with multi-disciplinary terms and partnerships in collaborative research for development implementation.
∎ Ability to be positive and can do attitude towards tasks beyond the job description.

Salary:
∎ This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position with annual salary ranging between BDT 2,369,960 - BDT 2,441,059 per annum.

∎ WorldFish's NRS shall receive comprehensive benefits including (but not limited to) insurance coverage for staff and eligible dependents, and pension/ provident fund contribution.
