Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is an inheritor of DANIDA Bangladesh derived from couple of project intervention explicitly DANIDA Boat Building Project and Boat Rental Scheme. CODEC has been working as a people centered development organization since 1985.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is working in the field of Micro-Finance from the inception. CODEC is also implementing different Development projects in the field of Education, Livelihood support, Environment, Legal Service, Humanitarian Field, Advocacy, Health & Nutrition etc. The aim of CODEC is to provide support and assistance to the disadvantaged coastal communities in their day-to-day struggle.
∎ CODEC invites application for the following positions from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing CODEC SHOWPNER THIKANA (Quality Education for Girls & Boys in Vulnerable coastal areas of Bangladesh) Project located at Bagerhat and Patuakhali (Rangabali)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the project's overall goal and objectives is achieved within the targeted period as per donor's and organizations' requirements.
∎ Provide all reports and documentations required by CODEC and Donor.
∎ Manage and supervise project employees to motivate and build team spirit and maximize their contribution to the project.
∎ Develop activity plan and detailed implementation plan for each year and update quarterly.
∎ Coordinate development of team's monthly work plan and annual training calendar.
∎ Maintain coordination with field activities, ensuring supportive field project management and reporting standards and overseeing the work at different level.
∎ Ensuring that Project activities are implemented according to established Project principles with adequate stakeholder's participation.
∎ Provide adequate direction and support to the project offices to ensure better coordination at that level.
∎ Monitor project components at field along with training, workshop, meetings at different level and provide feedbacks.
∎ Provide support in managing resources overseeing budgets.
∎ Problem solving related to the project and agreed responsibilities by making sound judgements using management skills, technical knowledge, good understanding of teams and cost-effective use of the available resources.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years

∎ Planning, budgeting, and financial management skills.
∎ Team building, HR management skills.
∎ Supportive supervision and motivation skill.
∎ Skilled in documentation, facilitation, presentation & reporting.
∎ Computer (MS word, excel, PowerPoint, email, internet etc ) knowledge.
∎ Strong report writing skills both Bangla and English.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 42000 (Monthly)
∎ The salary will be TK 42,000/- (including gratuity and others). Benefit will be provided as per approved budget.
