Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist for Radiology & Imaging (CT Scan, MRI, X-ray & USG), Laboratory Medicine, GHPD & Cath Lab dept. to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will convert physicians` voice recordings into accurate written reports, ensuring precision and adherence to medical standards.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Listen to and transcribe audio recordings from healthcare providers into medical documents (e.g., diagnostic reports, operative notes, referral letters).       

• Review and edit drafts generated by speech recognition software to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness.      

• Convert medical abbreviations and jargon into full, appropriate terms.

•  Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in reports to ensure patient safety.      

• Collaborate with physicians to verify report details and ensure accuracy.      

•  Follow patient confidentiality standards and meet legal documentation requirements.       

• Enter finalized medical reports into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.       

• Make informed decisions about the inclusion or exclusion of specific content in reports.        

• Differentiate homonyms, and refer to medical references for accurate usage of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology terminology.
