  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and IPC protocols.
  • Good organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to work in remote, humanitarian, or challenging environments.

Job Responsibilities:

RTMI is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiographer to support diagnostic imaging services at its facilities in Noakhali District and Bhasanchar. The Radiographer will be responsible for performing high-quality radiological examinations to assist clinical teams in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, while ensuring patient safety and adherence to radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations as requested by medical officers, following standard protocols and safety guidelines.

  • Prepare and position patients properly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient comfort and privacy at all times.

  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper calibration, daily checks, and timely reporting of any technical issues.

  • Follow and enforce radiation protection measures for patients, self, and other staff, including proper use of protective equipment.

  • Process and manage images (digital or film), ensuring accurate labeling, storage, and delivery to requesting clinicians in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of imaging services, equipment maintenance logs, and daily workload reports.

  • Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.

  • Monitor and manage radiology supplies and consumables, supporting timely requisition to prevent shortages.

  • Uphold strict infection prevention and control (IPC) measures within the radiology area.

  • Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care and accurate diagnosis.

  • Support other clinical or imaging services as needed, such as covering duties during staff leave or high workload periods.

  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to organizational and ethical standards at all times.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by RTMI authority to support overall service delivery.

Employment Status: Contractual (05 months, may extend later)
