Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct various laboratory tests on samples (e.g., blood, urine, tissue) to assist in diagnosing diseases, monitoring health conditions, and supporting research.
∎ Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
∎ Set up and calibrate laboratory instruments, ensuring they are functioning correctly. Regularly clean, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure precision and accuracy.
∎ Analyse test results, identify abnormalities, and document findings. In some cases, provide preliminary interpretations or recommendations based on the results.
∎ Any other task assigned by management.
