Diploma in Medical Technology
Diploma in Medical Technology (Laboratory) from the State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh.
Must have valid registration from the relevant medical council.
Responsibilities & Context:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests (Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Immunology, etc.).
Operate and maintain automated analyzers and laboratory equipment.
Ensure sample collection, processing, and storage following proper protocols.
Verify test results and ensure accuracy before reporting.
Maintain quality control (QC) & quality assurance (QA) standards.
Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection control policies.
Assist physicians and nursing staff with required diagnostic support.
Maintain proper documentation, logs, and equipment calibration records.
Identify abnormal results and report critical values promptly.
Support the Lab Manager in overall lab operations as needed.
