Educational Requirements:
∎ 4 years Diploma in Medical Faculty (Group - MATS, The State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh) from recognized Institutions.
∎ Must have Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) Registration number as Medical Assistant.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Medical Assistant Training
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Paramedics
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Hospital, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide first aid treatment and primary management of regular sick and emergency patient by taking necessary action as instructed by Medical officer.
∎ Provide primary management of different types of injuries i.e., cut injury, traumatic injury, burn injury, chemical injury etc. Should be capable of giving stitches, major dressings, and minor sprain plaster as per requirement.
∎ Maintain various types of registrar (both soft copy and hard copy) related to medical Centre and compliance.
∎ Assist to prepare monthly sickness reports, injury report, medical expense report, medicine issue report etc.
∎ Prepare monthly medicine requisition as per requirement.
∎ Keep record of medical expenses and primary checking of medical bills for submission to Medical Officer.
∎ Maintain the data of factory workers after any kind of Health care awareness program.
∎ Maintain all the medical equipment (In autoclave machine) by sterilizing regularly.
∎ Assist Medical Officer when required and assist Medical officer to providing age verification and fitness certificate at the time of recruitment.
∎ If required, to provide health education to worker to make awareness about their health and hygiene.
∎ Managing challenging incidents in emergency injury cases smoothly, confidently and rapidly.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by Medical officer and Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) registration is must.
∎ Sound Knowledge in MS Office.
∎ Ability to manage and work under pressure.
∎ Energetic, Confident and proactive.
