Job Context:
∎ Reports to : General Manager (Accounts & Finance)
∎ Department : Central Accounts Division (CAD), HO
∎ Computer Knowledge : Essential
∎ Job Location : Head Office, Banani, Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including factory accounts.
∎ Manage accounts receivable and payable, cash receipt, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure, variance analysis, Asset reconciliations, Bank account statement reconciliations, Inventory & fixed asset Management etc.
∎ Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial statement (Monthly & Yearly).
∎ Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
∎ Coordinate and complete annual audit.
∎ Improve system and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
∎ Assign factory and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
∎ Meet financial accounting objectives
∎ Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
∎ Liaison with Bank, RJSC and other related Institutions.
∎ Prepare details of account for Tax and VAT purpose.
∎ Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of accounting team.
∎ Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5-8 years of proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Finance Manager
∎ Advance computer skills on MS Office, accounting software (Tally ERP 9, Accpack, Troyee) and database.
∎ Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
∎ proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
∎ High attention of detail and accuracy
∎ Ability to direct and supervise.
∎ Superior interpersonal skills and time management.
