Masters in Accounting or similar specialization.
Practical experience to deal with VAT office.

Responsibilities & Context:
Calculate monthly VAT liability.
Reconcile data between ERP and EVAT software.
Prepare and reconcile VAT returns.
Prepare and submit VDS and TDS statements.
Prepare and deposit VAT, VDS, and TDS treasury challans.
Issue VDS and TDS certificates to relevant parties.
Lead the plant VAT team and handle factory-related VAT issues.
Partial experience in dealing with the Divisional office and the Commissionaire office.
Deal with Appeal / Tribunal.
Experience in VAT software (NBR).
Maintain regular communication and handle queries from the VAT authority.
Ensure proper deduction of TDS and VDS from all supplier invoices.
Assist internal departments on VAT-related matters.
Ensure accurate implementation of VAT calculations in SAP.
Prepare and submit all required documents for VAT audits.
Handle VAT audits, appeals, and tribunal cases.
Ensure practical application of relevant VAT rules (e.g., 9.1, 4.3, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.6, etc.)
Maintain liaison and communication with VAT offices.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
