Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA/ Master's in any discipline from a reputed university.
∎ PGD/Diploma in VAT management desirable
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure regular VAT compliance as per Government rules and law of the land.
∎ Conduct hearings and finalize assessments for VAT authorities.
∎ Ensure timely Payment of VAT, VDS etc. as per Govt. Rules using appropriate form/ treasury challans.
∎ Manage relationship with VAT, Tax & Customs Circle/Division Office, Zone/Headhunter, NBR to solve the barriers related to Company Customs, VAT & Tax issues
∎ Ensure timely Preparation and maintain of all Musak (example 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 4.3 etc), VAT register, & Other VAT papers.
∎ Ensure all VAT registers and records conforming to VAT & Tax laws are updated in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure preparation of timely VAT Return and ensure its submission to relevant authorities with due diligence
∎ Keep the management up-to-date with all relevant changes in VAT and Income Tax regulations and their potential impact on the organization
∎ Work independently and have sufficient knowledge regarding Import, Customs procedures, VAT & Tax rules related to Import and factory-based operations.
∎ Develop risk analysis and mitigation strategy from a compliance point of view.
∎ Any other tasks as and when requested
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7-8 Years working experience in relevant field. At least 3-4 Years experience in managerial position
∎ Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel)
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills
∎ Ability to take on multiple assignments.
∎ Prior experience of using VAT software will be given preference
