Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and lead the time tabling operation, ensuring time tabling and room scheduling functions are carried out effectively and efficiently, within specified timeframes
∎ Drive the timetabling policy and procedures to enable the University to use teaching spaces efficiently, taking into account and staff requirements.
∎ Manage the provision of timetable data to other corporate users and systems.
∎ Work with the examination's office on the arrangements for the examination scheduling.
∎ Assist Operations staff by providing ad-hoc reports for space utilization, tender documentation or maintenance works and by providing technical support and advice to resolve system issues.
∎ Work with Registry/Operations to identify refurbishment opportunities and to assess requirements for the development of new teaching spaces.
∎ Maintain links with external networks to promote good practice.
∎ Liaise with faculty clients to set/monitor service standards in the provisions of class timetabling services.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Professional experience in the similar position will be given preference
∎ Solid knowledge of office procedures, strong organizational skills with problem solving attitude
∎ Proficiency in MS Office (MS word, Excel) and the use of Internet
∎ Ability to plan, prioritize own workload and work on own initiative
∎ Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
∎ Must be self-motivated, hardworking and flexible regarding work hour
