Experience:

• At least 5 years

Minimum Post-Graduation from a reputed university and with excellent academic credentials

• At least 5 years

• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably within a reputable organization, ideally in a university setting

• Substantial managerial experience in relation to people, projects and resources

• knowledge of higher education within an international context

• Well-developed knowledge of systems and services related to study abroad and student support

• Good at MS office applications

• Strong interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English

• Experience of using initiative and creativity to resolve problems, identifying suitable solutions and opportunities for improvement

• Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural issues

• Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure

Key Responsibilities

• The Manager will support in recruiting international students, developing and implementing marketing plans, providing specific market knowledge, and representing the University on international student recruitment missions

• Support the planning and implementation of international mobility programs for students

• Implement campus-wide initiatives and activities that celebrate internationalism and diversity and that enhance the intercultural understanding and sensitivity of the entire community

• Work in a drop-in physical meeting in the office that serves as an on campus support centre for international students and also a resource centre for all students wishing to attend outbound mobility programs

• Create an inclusive community for international students throughout their student journey and when alumni of the University

• Manage the BRACU Scholarship Program and the Male and Female Students’ Accommodations.
