Job Context:
∎ Manager (Operation) is associated with the Executive Director all the time in terms of Project, Program & Policy design, re-plan, implementation & Control system for internal dynamics within the whole organization. Manager is responsible to look after the whole organizational program and projects along with some other organizational activates through his staff members followed by its vision, mission, and goals of the Project / Program by implementing Sustainable Organization for Land Rights and Agrarian Reform.
∎ Grade: VIII.
∎ Reportable & Accountable to: Executive Director.
∎ Job location: Head Office/ Entire.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Associated Activities (follow SMART principles):
∎ Top Management Level: Responsible to maintain the integrated approach team building attitude all the times in a positive manner.
∎ Deal with Visitors/ Donors/ representatives.
∎ Responsibility to transfer & approved the staff leave arrange the process of hiring the staff.
∎ Responsible to implement any program activities/ Projects as per need from the end of the grass roots in consultation with the Executive Director as well as with the respective of the Program desk(s).
∎ Responsible for Staff career planning/ performance appraisal/ midterm review and other staff development activities.
∎ S/he will do other works in relation with his/ her task, as assigned by his/her supervisor.
∎ Participate in different workshop & Trainings to be organized by CDA or other organization.
∎ Attend meetings/ trainings/ workshops within CDA & outside CDA
∎ Able to analyze the macro-environmental situation in and around organization in terms of program design & implementation.
∎ Any program is taken/ developed by the organization prior to implement should be analyze by him very rational in the eyes of cost effectiveness/ benefits as well as qualitative & quantitative control.
∎ Policy Level: Responsible to review/ formulation of organizational policy in a participatory manner upon needs.
∎ Advocacy Level: Responsible to represent the respective program/ CDA as an organization/ on special issues in the different advocacy network/ apex/ partners organizations.
∎ Assist to develop advocacy plan for CDA as well as POs.
∎ Assist to implement CDA's Advocacy events as well as Advocacy plan for greater interest of CDA's contextual need and its beneficiaries.
∎ POC Level: Attend National Anthem as schedule & POC meeting regularly & practice the organizational values/ belief/ principles.
∎ Initiate to conduct POC & Coordination meeting in timely manner/ guidelines.
∎ Formulate the meetings as per rules & principles.
∎ To play lead role in organizing POC in association with the sectorial head in terms of policy formulation as well as implementation through building values of "with" within program.
∎ Planning Level: Develop an operational plan of the integrated program & project activities management graduation & transformation, supervise & follow up entire field level activities as implemented by the area wise staff & provide necessary support and suggestion to the respective coordinators along with other associates in a consultative manner.
∎ Implementation Level: Provide the conceptual awareness and education to the concerned staff to organize the groups, village based POs as well as build up the leadership of the poor people from the village to upwards for their empowerment. Provide necessary follow up to arrange training & workshop etc and documentation.
∎ Assist the field staff and the grass root level leaders of the POs to build up the greater solidarity and united efforts among the people which will be an alternative social structure for empowerment & poverty reduction.
∎ Responsibility to help the concerned staff for selection of new areas, expansion and initial works for interventions consideration to the strategic plan.
∎ Nurture of the People's Organization to help CDA by proving suggestions, recommendations to the Executive Director for scaling up the POs.
∎ Conduct training and coaching to his/her staff on different issues to increase their knowledge, so that they can conduct issue meeting to the People's Organization efficiently.
∎ Attend monthly staff coordination meeting and discuss on the progress of People's organization and its problems etc.
∎ Interest to initiate grass root level study for the betterment of his/her career upon the change perspective.
∎ Control Level: Collect the monthly, half yearly/ yearly work plan of the coordinators and compile as well as s/he will prepare a separate work plan for himself/ herself & submit it to the Executive Director regularly.
∎ Collect the monthly, half yearly/ yearly activity report of the coordinator and compile as well as s/he will prepare a separate report for himself & submit it to Executive Director regularly.
∎ Approve the tour permission of his/her staff and recommendation their travelling bill form.
∎ Responsible to oversee the preparation of monthly accounts and budget control statements, evaluate program performance and to inform appropriate budget to the owner and about credits or debits.
∎ Special assignments: Engage with any other emergency or special work of the organization as required by the ED.
