Job Context:
∎ S. A GROUP OF INDUSTRIES is looking for an experienced person for the position of Manager (Accounts/ Vat/ Tax), in its Head Offce, Khulshi, Chattogram.
∎ Job Location: Chattogram (the applicant should be able to commit to stay longer period of time in Chattogram)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbents duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
∎ Supervise and guide directly all activities related to maintenance of accounts function.
∎ Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments.
∎ Develop investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
∎ Develop & implement policies and procedures for accounting, internal control, financial planning and reporting.
∎ Take initiative for improving operational efficiencies, controlling overheads and optimizing working capital.
∎ Develop and maintain working relationships with Bankers, Auditors and regulatory agencies.
∎ Prepare the monthly Financial Statements and submit the same to the Mgt.
∎ Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
∎ Manage overall Tax & VAT matters Of the co. which includes but is not limited to: payment, process-ing and submission of Tax & VAT returns/reports on time, handling external audits/disputes/appeals, establishing and maintaining good relations with relevant authorities.
∎ Perform special tasks, as assigned by the Mgt.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years experience in any large and reputed FMCG and/ or similar manufacturing company is required.
∎ Ability to effect change and implement new ideas.
∎ Work with inter-dependent departments for smooth functional processes.
∎ Good analytical ability, good communication skill in English.
∎ Computer literacy (MS Word & MS Excel) is must.
Salary: Negotiable
