Job Context:
∎ A reputed Industry in the country is looking for a potential candidate as Manager (Accounts & Finance) of the Company at its corporate Head Office in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. Be prepared accounts by newly built & standard with modernization system, obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general accounting structure, ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing of accounts and financial reporting, responsible for Company TAX & VAT with handle VAT & TAX audit conducted by NBR, AG and other Government Authorities.
∎ We are looking for an experienced Head of Accounts & Finance to perform effective cost control, budgeting, risk management, and financial planning, banking relations the organization`s financial strategies.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Directly assist the leadership in developing a strategic vision, medium long term sustainable business plan in order to achieve business objectives shared with Board of Directors of the Company.
∎ Ensure that the financial statements are prepared in conformity with all related Local and International Accounting Standards.
∎ Preparation Financial Statement Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly for Top Management & External Auditor as Compliance with IAS, IFRS, LAW's, & Company Policy;
∎ Actively participate in the preparation of annual budgets, comparison actual performance against budgets, proactively identifying and analyzing variances and devise monitor the implementation of necessary actions to manage/improve the same
∎ Timely submission of tax returns and settlement of tax liabilities while ensuring complete compliance with prevailing tax laws
∎ Identify the weaknesses in current financial processes people and re engineer the same to increase the efficiency effectiveness to face current future business challenges
∎ Initiate, review, assess and implement programs for continuous improvement, recommending appropriate techniques for systems and efficiencies in cost management
∎ Responsible for Overall leadership for the Finance team and part of the management team of the Company providing assistance for operational plus financial decision making for the business
∎ Representation on behalf of the company with internal external stake holders on various financial business requirements
∎ Fully operation accounts software ERP Tally & HR payroll.
∎ To ensure by preparing an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of accounts and financial reporting.
∎ To ensure & prepare company accounts as per management's requirements.
∎ To assist & monitor the Accounts and Financial activities in the daily banking requirements
∎ Supervise all staff of accounts & audit department.
∎ Be prepared accounts by newly built & standard with modernization system.
∎ Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general accounting structure.
∎ Responsible for Company TAX & VAT with handling VAT & TAX audit conducted by NBR, AG, and other Government Authorities.
∎ Supports budget and forecasting activities.
∎ Collaborates with the other accounts & audit department staff to support overall department goals and objectives.
∎ Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
∎ Advises team members regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
∎ Work with auditors to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
∎ Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
∎ Provide training to new and existing members of the accounts team as needed.
∎ Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advice on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
∎ Maintains party Accounts and reconciles the Accounts in a timely manner.
∎ Handle company Secretarial issues and keep liaison with government regulatory bodies/ offices.
∎ Keeping accounts and systems up to date using Tally software.
∎ Keeping VAT, Tax, AIT documents updated.
∎ Financial forecasting, Monitoring spending and budgets.
∎ Auditing and analyzing financial performance.
∎ Advising on cost minimizing and increasing profit.
∎ Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports.
∎ Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
∎ Perform with MIS team (Data collection, Data Analysis, reporting, etc.)
∎ Goods Received Note (GRN) wise imported product costing
∎ Prepare an annual budget, coordinate quarterly revision of the budget, and check monthly variance analysis.
∎ Monthly Reconciliation-(bank, Inventory)
∎ Review provision for C&F cost, Transportation, Freight, and unloading labor charges
∎ Support to Business intelligence team in various task
∎ Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
∎ Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
∎ Verified of Supplier bill, monthly exp. The operation, Branch transaction as required Verified on Sales, Service, and other Adjustment Issues as required
∎ Analysis of Inventory management system
∎ Preparing of bills and vouchers for payment and recording all transactions in the books of accounts and accounting software;
∎ Verified of Conveyance bill.
∎ Physical Inventory as required Schedule.
∎ Debtors Management, Summarized & report of Debtors aging schedule;
∎ Preparation of Company Income TAX return & withholding TAX Return as per income tax ordinance 1984
∎ Perform with AIT, TDS, VDS, output/input VAT & provide a report to concerned person NBR, External Auditor
∎ Banking and following up with the bank and related party as and when necessary for clearing the outstanding transactions.
∎ Perform as per special instruction as per management,
∎ Support to External audit when audit perform;
∎ Performed Special Audit thereafter prepares Management Report,
∎ To verify and analyze AIS & MIS reports, identify anomalies, and take necessary corrective actions.
∎ Candidates should have at least 3 years practical working experience in the same position in any financial institutions.
∎ To prepare process costing and analysis for the cost saving.
∎ Maintaining standard costs of raw material, machineries, finished goods etc. and reconciliation accordingly.
∎ Producing monthly management accounts including material costs.
∎ Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
∎ Analyze the collected data and log a detailed record of the results.
∎ Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
∎ Producing monthly profit and loss statements.
∎ Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.
∎ Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
∎ To ensure timely submission of MIS report to the management.
∎ Any other jobs as may be assigned by the authority

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 38 to 42 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Over 8- 10 years of post qualifying experience in a leading sales and distribution industry at a senior level, out of which a minimum of 3 years directly leading and managing the Finance vertical of the business.
∎ Candidates should have at least 3 years practical working experience in the same position in any financial institutions.
∎ Ability to work independently, with supervision.
∎ Knowledge and ability in the use of software applications (ERP Tally & HR Payroll
∎ Ability to effectively use a modern automated financial management system
∎ Strong professional accounts skills and the ability to prepare a new account system.
∎ Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
∎ Must have strong knowledge and work experience on Bank reconciliation
∎ The applicants should have sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel/word Specialist (Training Completed is preferable)
∎ The applicants should have bank Audit experience in the CA-CC period
∎ Working under pressure
∎ Should have a mentality to work beyond the time frame.
∎ Strong team player with a can-do attitude & Proactive with strong interpersonal/ communication skills.
