Job Context:
∎ Edges Packaging Ltd, a 100% export oriented Bonded company in the country, with annual turnover around 3.0 million USD, is now looking for hiring an Accountant.
∎ Job Location: Bhawal Mirzapur, Gazipur (Near Mirzapur Bazar)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain books of accounts of the company
∎ Maintain ledger accounts of clients and vendors.
∎ Maintain inventory of warehouse and reconcile with production floor issues.
∎ Maintain loan accounts and periodically reconcile with bank statements.
∎ Processing & reconciling invoices of all parties/clients against purchases and sales on cash/ credit.
∎ Must be able to prepare profit & loss account, balance sheet and other Management Reports.
∎ Visit and pursue clients for payments falling overdue.
∎ Must have competency level skills in costing for poly bag, carton etc.
∎ Prepare documents, invoices etc. for law suits, as and when necessary, and work together with the lawyer.
∎ Experience in preparation, documentation, submission and filing of Tax, Vat
∎ Must be skilled in office management and both digital and physical filing of all classified files and documents.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ At least 03-year experience in any reputed company engaged in export-oriented Garments Packaging & Accessory, esp. in poly, carton, elastic etc.
∎ Experience in any export oriented RMG Packaging & Accessory company will be preferred.
∎ Candidate who meet the above requirements are encouraged to apply
∎ Must have proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, MS Word, E-mail, Zoom/Google Meet
∎ Must know how to type in Bangla & English.
∎ Pleasant personality and demeanor.
