Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or in the relevant field. A master's degree will be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analysis. Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
∎ Bangladesh Company Laws Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all relevant Bangladesh Company laws pertaining to UCO collection, export, and financial operations.
∎ TAX and VAT Compliance: Oversee and manage the timely and accurate preparation, filing, and remittance of TAX and VAT payments. Ensure strict compliance with applicable tax regulations.
∎ Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the CFO in creating budgets and financial forecasts for UCO collection and export operations. Monitor budget performance and make necessary adjustments when required.
∎ Auditing: Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits. Address audit queries and implement audit recommendations efficiently.
∎ Financial Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies.
∎ Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions. Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
∎ Banking and Treasury: Manage banking relationships, oversee cash flow, and optimize the utilization of funds.
∎ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency in UCO collection and export financial activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Thorough understanding of Bangladesh's financial regulations, including TAX and VAT compliance.
∎ Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
∎ Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
∎ Familiarity with relevant accounting software and MS Office applications.
∎ Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
