Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in procurement, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finanace, Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Diploma/ Masters in Procurement/Procurement & supply Chain Management will be preferred;
∎ Those with 3rd division/class or below CGPS 2.5 out of 4 in any stage of their academic life need not apply.
∎ Skills Required: Administrative Procedures, Advance Computer Skills, logistics implementation, Procurment Management Process, QC & Compliance

Job Context:
∎ About JSUS: Jugantar Samaj Unnayan Sangstha (JSUS) is a promising flourishing Woman led NGO, significant contributions to advancing gender equality and women`s empowerment at Chattogram Division, Bangladesh. JSUS efforts have led to improved access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and legal protection for women and girls. JSUS plays a vital role in supporting women`s leadership and amplifying women`s voices in decision-making processes, both within their communities and at broader societal levels.
∎ Job Context:
∎ Cox`s Bazar in Bangladesh was hosting a significant population of Rohingya refugees who had fled violence and persecution in Myanmar since 25th August,2017. The Rohingya refugee crisis is one of the largest and most protracted refugee situations globally. The situation in Cox`s Bazar is complex, and the needs of Rohingya refugees are multifaceted. The education program was just one aspect of the broader humanitarian response aimed at addressing the immediate and long-term needs of the Rohingya population. As part of its efforts, JSUS has been actively involved in the Rohingya Refugee Response Program in Cox`s Bazar, addressing the needs of Rohingya refugees who have fled violence and persecution in Myanmar. JSUS has been closely working with BRAC Pool fund supported by Global Affairs of Canada (GAC) for ensuring access to education for the most vulnerable Refugee Communities.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Logistics: Coordinate and manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
∎ Maintain an inventory management system, track stock levels, and report on stock status regularly.
∎ Arrange transportation, warehousing, and distribution of program materials and supplies.
∎ Ensure compliance with logistics policies, procedures, and guidelines.
∎ Responsible to ensure compliance to the procurement process such as; receiving PR, collecting quotations, initiate bidding process, prepare comparative statement and issue work order etc.;
∎ Responsible to call procurement committee meeting, act as member Secretary of Procurement Committee and prepare comparative statement/bid summery and/or note for record in applicable cases, negotiate with vendors/service providers and present it for approval as per level of authority.
∎ Process to finalize Frame Work Agreement FWA) with applicable vendors and prepare/supervise the entire process as and when required;
∎ Ensure documentations, files are maintaining adequately and systematic way which would be available for review/audit;
∎ Administration: Support in the day-to-day administrative tasks of the program office, including managing office supplies, equipment, and utilities.
∎ Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including venue booking, logistics, and documentation.
∎ Manage travel arrangements for program staff and visitors, including flights, accommodations, and visas.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, documents, and files, both electronic and hard copies.
∎ Assist in drafting and formatting reports, memos, and correspondence.
∎ Handle general office duties, such as managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, email communications, and phone calls.
∎ Supervise Procurement Process of Goods and Services for day-to-day activities.
∎ Process to enlistment of vendors/service providers, provide orientation to vendors/service providers when necessary.
∎ Receiving goods/service and process invoices for payment along with all supporting documents.
∎ Maintain regular contact with vendor/service provider and end user/requestor for ensuring timely delivery.
∎ Coordination: Collaborate with program teams to ensure logistical and administrative support aligns with program objectives and timelines.
∎ Liaise with external partners, government agencies, and vendors to facilitate program activities.
∎ Provide support during emergency response activities and assist in mobilizing resources as needed.
∎ Supervise procurement staff, coordinate/facilitate to the internal and external auditor/reviewer; and
∎ Any other assignment/task given by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Prior experience in logistics and administration, preferably in humanitarian or development programs.
∎ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
∎ Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management.
∎ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali; knowledge of Rohingya language or Burmese is a plus.
∎ Commitment to humanitarian principles and sensitivity to the needs and rights of Rohingya refugees.
