• Strong understanding of office operations, with excellent organizational abilities and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

• Capable of independently planning, organizing, and managing workload effectively
• Should be self-driven, dedicated, and adaptable to flexible working hours
• Demonstrated ability to apply creativity and initiative to solve problems, identify effective solutions, and suggest areas for improvement
• Must possess appropriate communication skills to interact professionally with both students and faculty

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides general assistance to both faculty and students within the computer lab
• Maintains all computer systems and related equipment (including peripherals, printers, projectors, etc.) within the Architecture computer labs and department, ensuring they function properly and are updated with current antivirus software and operating systems
• Prepare all necessary software and system configurations in advance so that classrooms are ready before the start of each semester
• Carries out routine backups of software data. Records any damage or malfunction of equipment and reports it accordingly
• Monitors downloads on lab computers to prevent the installation of spyware, malware, or other harmful software
• Conducts regular checks and inventory of lab and departmental computers for maintenance purposes.
• Identifies and resolves minor hardware and technical issues, while referring to more complex problems to specialized technicians when needed.
• Ensures the lab is constantly supervised to prevent theft or misuse of equipment.
