Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position holder is responsible for the below tasks:
∎ Actively support the TC team in Knowledge management efforts typically focusing on TC objective and scope of works including effective and timely planning and implementation of TC activities
∎ Support project/programme initiatives to provide professional advisory services to and cooperate with a broad range of target groups
∎ Support in identifying competitive advantage, disadvantages and gaps of relevant strategies and policies to look for innovation
∎ Support in sharing of lessons learned to partners and stakeholders, integration of learnings for continuous improvement within the TC activities to provide tailor-made support to the partner cities and ministries for effective organizational learning and capacity development.
∎ support supervisor in all task when implementing GIZ rules and regulation
∎ support supervisor in the field of project's planning, steering and progress monitoring
∎ Provide technical support to prepare relevant project documents
∎ Provide technical support in implementation of local level activities including necessary coordination, communications and follow-ups with partners and stakeholders

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year experience (not more than 3 years) in development sector in a recognized development agency i.e. (inter) national NGO, research organizations, etc.
∎ Basic exposure to the capacity development measures (i.e. training, exposure visits, etc) and knowledge on gender/PR related issues will be desirable
∎ Other knowledge, additional competences:
∎ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
∎ Fluency in verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English
∎ Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team in a multi-cultural environment
∎ Basic knowledge of development issues in the context of Bangladesh.
∎ Good self-organization and structured working methods to complete complex, demanding tasks, openness to familiarize oneself with new technical areas
∎ Quick comprehension, as well as ability to work in a team, social and intercultural competence/sensitivity
