Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ ODIN is a consulting and outsourcing company, primarily working with Banks and Financial Institutions. Highly motivated junior analysts are needed to work on back-office support for Real Estate banking, working up to 12 hours a day five days a week. Candidates should expect to work extremely hard for long hours for the first 1 to 2 years to learn on the job about real estate finance/accounting on the debt side.
∎ The work involved requires both quantitative and qualitative skills. Candidates need to be very good both in English and with numbers. In addition to data entry and accounts related tasks for Cash Flows, Income Statements, etc. candidates will need to be capable of working with legal documents, reports, summaries, etc. in English.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Junior Analysts will be expected to work for long hours crunching numbers and filling data as needed. They should also be motivated to constantly learn, to make progress, and to improve their skills, abilities, and decision-making.
∎ Junior Analysts will be working with sensitive documents with extremely high needs for accuracy and attention to detail. Diligent team players with good communication skills and with excellent reading and writing ability in English are required.
∎ Junior Analysts will be expected to work heavily with numbers in MS Excel, and will be expected to become an advanced Excel user. They will also be expected to constantly learn, and to develop their technical, communication, & language skills.
∎ Applicants will be assessed based on their motivation, English language proficiency, learning ability in MS Excel, attention to detail, common sense, and ability to apply their knowledge to the live tasks.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in accounting and financial accounting
∎ Excellent reading and writing ability in English
∎ Working knowledge on MS office, more specifically MS Excel
∎ Analytical Mind-frame
∎ Attention to detail
∎ Comfort in working with numbers
∎ Ability to compile coherent reports
Salary:
∎ Tk. 15000 - 17000 (Monthly)
∎ Diligent workers will have their salaries reviewed for increase every year. Additionally, small monthly bonuses are sometimes awarded based on performance, during very busy times.
