Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overseeing all design projects, from conception to delivery. Designing original pieces, including illustrations and infographics. Physical Make, sewing, bonding, mockups, make garments; and Textile Engineering, including pattern cutting and working with textiles. Illustrator and adobe programs. Good understanding of pattern making, draping, materials, trims, garment fit, garment construction, and manufacturing. Comprehensive understanding of textile construction, and knowledgeable in fabric structures, with an emphasis in knit and woven. Accustomed to working in a rapidly changing, high growth environment and to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes. Embody the passion to work on innovation and style. Create seasonal print/color concepts and build out relevant print/yarn dye/ embroidery pattern stories from that concept that are on brand and Influence strategy for product area or division. Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions. Ensure that product is consistent with seasonal concepts and storytelling as well as business strategy and vision. Provide innovative ideas and new concepts to build strong and elevated collection. Monitor and ensure adherence to Time and Action /Design calendar deadlines. Any other assignment provided by the management.
