Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate should have Bachelor degree from any reputed universities in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Counselling the target population including care-givers of children under five children, adolescent girls and pregnant and lactating women.
∎ Ensuring a nutrition counselling implementation plan for Children, pregnant and lactating women efficiently.
∎ Organize and conduct adequate health and nutrition education sessions for caregivers and beneficiaries on different nutrition subjects such as breastfeeding, complementary feeding, hygiene practice, care for pregnant and lactating women, ANC, PNC, safe delivery, prevention of illness, deworming etc.
∎ Screening and referral of acutely malnourished children to SAM facilities.
∎ Ensure all targeted Pregnant and Lactating women receiving IFA supplementation, IYCF counseling.
∎ Educate the mother regarding importance of breast feeding with position and attachment.
∎ Producing and maintaining records of the beneficiaries as a member of the team, work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure community mobilization and referral.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1-2 years’ experience in relevant clinical fields.
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage. Knowledge and experience with working in the field and medical emergency department and Trauma management will be added as advantage.
∎ Effectively applies knowledge on clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, administering medication, phlebotomy, maintenance etc.
∎ Adequate practical knowledge on handling child delivery and its complication.
∎ Works effectively with local authorities, stakeholders, and beneficiaries.
∎ Fluency in both spoken and written Bangla and English languages,knowledge of the local dialect (Chittagonian) would be an asset.
∎ Good computer skills, especially in MS Office and data entry templates.
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Honesty and high level of professional integrity.
Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
