Experience:

• 4 to 5 years

• Bachelor of Arts (BA)

1. Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Language Studies, or a related field.
2. A certification in translation (e.g., ATA, NAATI) is preferred.

• Age 30 to 45 years

1. Minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience, preferably in a similar role.
2. Experience in translating a wide range of content, including technical, legal, medical, and marketing materials.
3. Fluency in Chinese, Bangla, and English (both written and spoken).
4. Strong linguistic and writing skills in all three languages.
5. Proficiency in translation software and tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
7. In-depth understanding of the cultural nuances of Chinese, Bangla, and English-speaking regions.
8. Familiarity with various translation methodologies and best practices.Knowledge of industry-specific terminology in areas such as legal, technical, medical, and marketing is a plus

1.Translation:

1. Translate written materials from Chinese to Bangla and English, and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and context fidelity.
2. Maintain the original tone, style, and meaning of the source text in translations.
3. Review and revise translations to ensure high-quality output.

2.Interpretation:

1. Provide oral interpretation during meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
2. Facilitate effective communication between parties speaking different languages.

3.Cultural Adaptation:

1. Adapt translations to suit the cultural context of the target audience.
2. Provide cultural insights to enhance the accuracy and relevance of translations.

4.Proofreading and Editing:

1. Proofread and edit translations for grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors.
2. Ensure consistency in terminology and language usage.

5.Documentation and Management:

1. Maintain translation records and databases.
2. Assist in developing and updating translation glossaries and style guides.

6.Collaboration:

1. Work closely with other translators, editors, and project managers to meet deadlines and project requirements.
2. Participate in team meetings and provide input on translation strategies and processes.
