Educational Requirements:
∎ A Master's degree in agriculture, environmental science, or a closely related field such as agriculture or climate change is strongly preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of experience in project coordination and management, preferably in the field of sustainable livelihoods/value chain development or climate change.
∎ Demonstrated experience of project design, monitoring and evaluation
∎ Strong understanding of child protection principles and practices, sustainable livelihoods/value chain development approaches, and climate change issues.
∎ Knowledge of sustainable development principles and practices, including environmental conservation, social equity, and economic dignity.
∎ Experience in supporting and monitoring field-based programs and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally for up to 90 days per year.
∎ Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to plan, organise, prioritise, and implement workflow to meet positional objectives, work independently, and be proactive.
∎ Cross-cultural communication proficiency in communicating effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
∎ An understanding of compliance issues and requirements for Bangladesh government, ACFID Code of Conduct, Australian Aid programs, and other sectoral standards.
∎ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
∎ Strong commitment to Transform Aid / Baptist World Aid's mission, vision, core values, and theology of development.
∎ High standard of written and spoken English.
