Key responsibilities will include:
Student Counseling & Guidance
· Counsel students and guardians regarding university admission & visa procedures/immigration process
· Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand student aspirations about their study abroad plan and align them with suitable opportunities.
· Student Counseling & Advising Understand students' academic background, interests and goals.
· Recommend suitable countries, universities and courses in terms of admission & visa procedures/immigration process
· Provide expert counseling to students regarding study abroad, including course selection, university recommendations and career pathways.
· Explain admission processes, eligibility, deadlines, and scholarship options.
· Guide on university portals and document uploads.
· Guide students through the entire application process, including documentation and embassy requirements
Application & Documentation Support
· Application Assistance Help students prepare strong applications
· Track application status, progress & update and communicate with institutions when needed.
· Ensure proper documentation and maintain regular follow-up with students regarding their application status and updates
Visa Counseling
· Assist Study Abroad students in preparing and submitting visa applications, ensuring compliance with country-specific requirements.
· Provide mock interview support and guidance for embassy interviews. Help students understand visa conditions (e.g. work rights, stay duration, etc.)
· Maintain proper records of each student’s application and visa status.
Relationship Management
· Follow up with leads via phone, email, walk-ins and social media platforms
Sales & Conversion
· Work on monthly targets for student recruitment and conversions – this is a target-based position
· Ensure timely follow-ups and meet individual/team KPIs
Market Awareness & Updates
· University and Program Knowledge Stay updated on admission requirements
· Know differences in intakes (e.g. September vs. January).
· Understand course types: Diplomas, Bachelor’s, Master’s.
· Stay updated on visa rules, regulations, and changes in immigration policies for various countries.
Event Participation

· Attend educational fairs, seminars and events.
[Online]
· Post on social media and WhatsApp groups to attract students. Create marketing content: brochures, flyers, blogs, testimonials
Deliver impactful presentations (both online and offline) to engage and inform students about international study options.
Negotiation & Communication
· Collaboration with Universities & Agents Build and maintain partnerships with European and non-European universities.
· Coordinate with international admission teams and education agents.
· Negotiate commissions or referral incentives (if working with agencies)
Work Culture
Compliance & Ethics Maintain transparency in service fees and procedures
Avoid providing false promises or fraudulent documents.
Optional
· Pre-Departure & Orientation Guide students on accommodation, travel and settling abroad.
· Offer checklists and cultural adaptation tips.
· Arrange Pre-Departure events or webinars.
· Post-Visa Services:
o Help students book tickets,
o find accommodation.
· Guide on part-time jobs, bank accounts and health insurance.
· Maintain alumni network for future referrals.
