Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hostel.
Maintain discipline and ensure residents follow hostel rules and regulations.
Allocate rooms and manage admissions, check-ins, and check-outs.
Ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff.
Address residents' complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain records of residents, visitors, attendance, and hostel inventory.
Ensure the safety and security of all residents and respond to emergencies.
Monitor food service quality and coordinate with the kitchen or catering team.
Prepare reports and communicate regularly with the management.
