• Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field. Experience in the development field will be preferable.

Job Context:

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAMwhich has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects. Hena Ahmed Hospital and Diagnostics Center situated in Munshigonj district, is one of the institutions of the Health Sector, established on 23rd May, 2016, aiming to provide high standard quality health care services towards general population within a reasonable price. It’s a 20 bedded hospital comprises well-equipped diagnosis services along with a pharmacy setup.

DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Hospital Manager, Hena Ahmed Hospital and Diagnostic Center, Munshiganj.

Job Description:

• Ensure day to day smooth operation of the Hospital and Diagnostic Center;
• Prepare an annual operational plan along with a budget;
• Ensure high standard smiling reception services at hospital by ensuring well behave, respectful and expression of well-wishing attitude towards patients and their family members;
• Ensure 24/7 services;
• Ensure close coordination and collaboration with the local doctors, pharmacy owners, village doctors, community stakeholders, different associations and other relevant etc.
• Act to resolve the community conflict that hampers the smooth operation;
• Initiate prompt action to resolve problems in hospital settings and ensure 100% patient satisfaction;
• Conduct a need analysis and address in consultation with the management for maintaining high standard services;
• Facilitate a mapping exercise to collect necessary demographic information of the surroundings for the smooth functioning of the hospital;
• Ensure quality doctor arrangement and management in close cooperation with the respective technical supervisor and focal person at the Health sector;
• Develop a memorandum of understanding as necessary;
• Propose and initiate capacity building for the hospital staff;
• Ensure monitoring and supervision along with on the job support for the hospital staff;
• Ensure all sorts of accounts related work and their documentation along with banking services;
• Timely completion of administrative work like renewal of hospital and diagnostic center’s license, VAT & Tax, rentals, bills, maintaining and keep up to date all registers etc.
• Initiate procurement following DAM policy;
• Ensure proper documentation of all the hospital’s activities reports;
• Initiate staff requisition development and obtain approval for the further process of hiring through the Human Resource department of the Health Sector;
• Ensure maintenance and proper use of the vehicle/Ambulance;
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
