∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAMwhich has also been operating 9 institutions and 14 donor funded projects. Hena Ahmed Hospital and Diagnostics Center situated in Munshigonj district, is one of the institution of Health Sector, established on 23rd May, 2016 aiming to provide high standard quality health care services towards general population within a reasonable price. It’s a 20 bedded hospital comprise of well-equipped diagnosis services along with a pharmacy setup.
∎ DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Hospital Manager, Hena Ahmed Hospital and Diagnostic centers, Munshiganj.
∎ Location: The position will be based at Hena Ahmed Hospital and Diagnostics Center, Village: Alampur,
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure day to day smooth operation of the Hospital and Diagnostic Center
∎ Prepare annual operational plan along with budget
∎ Ensure high standard smiling reception services at hospital by ensuring well behave, respect and expression of well-wishing attitude towards patients and their family members
∎ Ensure 24/7 services
∎ Ensure close coordination and collaboration with the local doctors, pharmacy owners, village doctors, community stakeholders,different associations and other relevant, etc.
∎ Act to resolve community conflict which hampers the smooth operation
∎ Initiate prompt action to resolve problems at hospital settings and ensure 100% patient satisfaction.
∎ Conduct need analysis and address in consultation with the management for maintaining high standard services
∎ Facilitate mapping exercise to collect necessary demographic information of the surroundings for smooth functioning of the hospital.
∎ Ensure quality doctor arrangement and management in close cooperation with respective technical supervisor and focal person at health sector.
∎ Develop memorandum of understanding as necessary
∎ Propose and initiate capacity building for the hospital staffs
∎ Ensure monitoring and supervision along with on the job support for the hospital staffs
∎ Ensure all sorts of accounts related works and its documentation along with banking services
∎ Timely completion of administrative work like renewal of hospital and diagnostic center’s license, VAT & Tax, rentals, bills, maintain and keep up to date all registers etc.
∎ Initiate procurement following DAM policy
∎ Ensure proper documentation of all the hospital’s activities report
∎ Initiate staff requisition development and obtain approval for further process of hiring through Human Resource department of Health Sector
∎ Ensure maintenance and proper use of vehicle/Ambulance
∎ Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience on health program or medical promotion will add extra value.
∎ Ability to work independently
∎ Ability to work in a team and strengthen the team approach;
∎ Strong organizational and financial management skills;
∎ Good oral and written communication skill, both in Bangla and English;
∎ Adequate knowledge on MS Word and Excel;
∎ Knowledge on accounting software will be consider as an added advantage;
∎ Applicants must have COVID 19 vaccination certificate.
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
