Education:
HSC (Science) and completed training as Hearing Aid Technician, Biomedical Engineering, or any related technical field/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

- At least 01 years of practical experience in hearing aid handling, repair, or technical support.
- Hands-on knowledge of analog and digital hearing aids and relevant tools/software.
- Attention to detail and ability to diagnose and resolve device issues effectively.
- Basic knowledge of hearing health and sensitivity to working with individuals with disabilities.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and record-keeping practices.
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the workplace.
Responsibilities & Context:
Brief description of key responsibilities:
Assist audiometrician with hearing aid fittings, programming, and real-ear measurements.
Conduct troubleshooting and perform maintenance or minor repairs on hearing aids and accessories.
Manage the cleanliness, calibration, and functionality of audiological and hearing aid tools.
Provide user training and demonstrations to patients and caregivers on hearing aid operation and care.
Maintain comprehensive inventory and service records for hearing aids, including all batteries and accessories that are issued, repaired, or replaced.
Track inventory of hearing aids, earmolds, tools, and spare parts; report shortages to the concerned authority.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and safe handling of devices.
Coordinate with vendors or suppliers for warranty claims and technical support.
Support community outreach and hearing aid distribution programs as needed.
Counsel patients and caregivers on device use.
Prepare and submit periodic activity reports of SAHIC.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
