• Familiarity with primary healthcare services, health interventions, and community-based health programs.

• Graduation in any discipline.

• At least 03 year of professional experience in humanitarian response working directly with the beneficiaries.

• Experience on livelihood programming for persons with disabilities in refugee context.

Job Summary

PROTTYASHI, A social development organization has been responding the host community of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar with the technical support of PKSF. ROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Health Officer for the ENRICH Project.

Reporting

Health Officer will report to Project Manager. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of health activities under the ENRICH project, which provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to poor households.
• Conduct and supervise daily static clinics to attend to patients and organize weekly satellite clinics where MBBS doctors treat patients.
• Facilitate referrals to public and private hospitals and clinics for patients needing specialized or further treatment, including organizing and overseeing specialized health camps for conditions like diabetes, orthopedic issues, ENT, and pediatrics.
• Check health-related information and data collected by health visitors and maintain records of health issues to effectively respond to emergencies.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with government and community stakeholders, and work closely with partner NGOs to implement activities and ensure quality.
• Provide technical support to health visitors and other program staff on health-related activities.
• Support community sensitization and mobilization on various health interventions to promote the project's holistic approach to well-being.
• Ensure the quality of health services provided and the consistent follow-up of activities according to the program's plans and best practices.
• Manage project budgets for health activities and oversee the distribution and use of medical supplies.

• Salary and benefits: Monthly Gross Salary will be 19,700 BDT with regular traveling and communication bill.
