Job Responsibilities:
∎ The University's Student Information Centre is a new initiative to provide high quality information and support to? ?students and visitors to the University. We are looking for a Head of the Centre to establish, lead and run it as a vital service for all across the university. The Head will be responsible for managing the service and for providing cross-functional services to students, parents, staff, faculty, and others. She/he will manage the hiring, training, supervision, coaching and evaluation of staff in a manner that creates a cohesive team that works together to display and promote a high level of customer services. This includes mentoring, coaching, encouraging and providing professional development opportunities; performance management and evaluation on a regular basis.
∎ To be successful in this role, you should have extensive and successful leadership and management skill with a strong background in customer service and excellent communication skills. You should be a natural problem solver, with the ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions quickly. Additionally, you should have experience managing a team and be able to motivate and inspire others to the delivery of high-quality services.
