Job Summary:
As the Head of Finance at Decor, you will play a critical role in managing the company’s financial strategy, ensuring robust financial control, and delivering accurate financial reporting. This position requires a high level of expertise in financial planning, VAT and tax compliance, ledger maintenance, and overall financial management to support the company’s growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
Lead the budgeting process, including annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage all VAT and tax-related matters, including planning, compliance, and reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely filing of VAT returns, income tax returns, and other statutory filings.
Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors as necessary.
Supervise the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and collections.
Ensure proper recording of debit and credit transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize cash utilization.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and identify potential financial risks.
Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate financial risks.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and investors.
Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and achieve financial goals.
