Experience:
Master’s Degree/MBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from any reputed public/private University.
Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)/Chartered Accountant (CA)/Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) (partly completed will be allowed).
15 years in Finance & Accounts /Audit roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. (CFO, GM- Finance & Accounts or similar) in the manufacturing industries.
Experience in Building Material Division (BMD) or manufacturing industries will be a strong advantage.
Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, costing, planning to optimize organizational resources.
Proficient in taxation and regulatory affairs, covering corporate tax, source tax and VAT with a strong command of audit procedures and cost management practices.
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS), taxation, ERP software and financial modelling.
Familiarity with Bangladesh’s financial laws, company regulations and tax policies.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Oversee preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely company accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (local tax laws)
Manage internal & external audits.
Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
Ensure timely and accurate filling of Tax returns and compliance tax regulations.
Liaise with external advisors on tax planning and risk management.
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Develop business continuity and financial risk strategies.
Provide detailed cost and budget reports to senior management on a regular basis.
Analyze cost trends, margins and profitability to support strategic initiatives.
Prepare presentations and dashboards highlighting key financial insights.
Work closely with management to align budgetary and cost strategies with business objectives.
Contribute to feasibility studies, investment appraisal and project evaluations.
Support pricing strategy through accurate costing and profitability analysis.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls and statutory regulations.
Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) regarding cost and budget matters.
Maintain transparency and accountability in all financial activities.
Establish and uphold a comprehensive financial management framework, ensuring integrity, transparency and strong internal control across all financial functions of the organization.
Lead the design and execution of forecasts and scenario analyses to guide strategic planning, costing, investment decisions, and long-term business growth.
Conduct in-dept company valuation, evaluating profitability.
Ensure continuous improvement in financial reporting, budgeting and audit practices, fostering a culture of accountability, cost-efficiency and strategic for perform any additional finance-related responsibilities or assignments as entrusted by Board of Director or Managing Director.
