Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree in Graphic or Web Design
∎ A portfolio of your work is required for application
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This job is approximately 50% Data Collection and Data Entry and 50% Graphic Related Work
∎ Maintain the company's catalog of product pictures, ensuring all products are accurately represented
∎ Search for and find the best possible product pictures for specific branded perfume, cosmetics, and beauty products by searching for the product barcode on Google Images
∎ Ensure that the correct picture is selected based on guidelines such as minimum image resolution, angle of the product photography, and minimum professional level quality of the photo
∎ Manipulate product pictures as needed, such as changing product colors and shades
∎ Design graphics for our eCommerce website as needed
∎ Create presentations and pitch decks in both PDF and PowerPoint formats
∎ Design graphics for holiday greeting emails
∎ Offer input and expertise in any other design related matters that may arise in the course of business
∎ Collect product data information from the internet by searching for products on Google that meet specific requirements and store them on our custom built product information management system
Additional Requirements:
∎ This is a night shift role as you will be required to work with head office based in the USA
∎ Must be able to commute to our Uttara office and work night shifts Friday 8pm to 5am and Saturdays 9pm to 3am. Sundays are off.
∎ Must have advanced proficiency in both reading and writing in English.
∎ Required Skills:
∎ Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with a strong emphasis on Photoshop
∎ A very high level of natural artistic ability and creative direction
∎ Extremely good eye for detail
∎ Strong understanding of what constitutes good product photography and the ability to discern high quality product photography from low quality
∎ Strong understanding of design principles such as layout, typography, and color theory
∎ A portfolio of work is required for application
∎ Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
∎ Experience with web design fundamentals and layouts
∎ Knowledge of Shopify and coding related to web design is a huge plus, but not required
∎ Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
∎ Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey ideas and designs to clients and colleagues
∎ Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction and feedback from others
