Responsibilities & Context:

The General Manager (Marketing) for Resort Share Sales is responsible for overseeing the entire marketing and sales operations for resort membership or vacation ownership programs. This executive role focuses on revenue growth, strategic market positioning, team leadership, and delivering exceptional customer experience in the luxury resort sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Marketing & Sales Leadership

    • Develop and implement overall marketing and sales strategies for resort shares/memberships.

    • Set ambitious sales targets and monitor progress against KPIs.

    • Identify new markets, customer segments, and business growth opportunities.

  2. Brand & Market Positioning

    • Strengthen the resort’s brand presence in the local and international market.

    • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, and events.

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

  3. Revenue & Business Development

    • Drive high-value sales and maximize resort membership revenue.

    • Manage key accounts, corporate partnerships, and VIP clients.

    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional offers strategically.

  4. Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing and sales team.

    • Ensure effective training, motivation, and performance evaluation.

    • Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused culture.

  5. Client Relationship Management

    • Maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and corporate partners.

    • Ensure a premium customer experience throughout the sales cycle.

    • Develop referral programs and loyalty initiatives.

  6. Reporting & Analytics

    • Provide regular reports and insights to the board or senior management.

    • Analyze campaign ROI, sales performance, and market data.

    • Implement continuous improvement strategies based on data insights.

  7. Collaboration

    • Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service for seamless delivery.

    • Coordinate with external agencies for marketing, PR, and advertising initiatives.
