Job Context:

∎ Jamuna Group is now seeking a GM Audits with experience and potential to oversee all of the company`s financial and accounting operations.
∎ This is a senior-level role with responsibilities including providing accurate and timely financial reports to the Group Directors, conducting regular financial analyses, and auditing the company`s books.
∎ As a result, Jamuna is looking for a strong and self-driven professional to lead our Corporate Head Office Accounts & Finance department. The post of “GM Audit" will take the lead in handling the Group`s accounting tasks. Follow the SOP for the assigned Accounts process. The selected candidate will have in-depth understanding of accounting procedures as well as strong judgments.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To organize, manage, oversee, and direct audit activities in accordance with best practices for the industry, such as IIA (USA) standards and guidelines, COSO framework, ISO, and SOX, etc. The overall execution of the audit assignment falls under the purview of the Head of Audit.
∎ The audit subject's risk and control assessment. Engage the auditee, be clear about the audit's objectives and scope, and ask the auditee about any concerns they have, and make sure the audit adequately addresses the key business risks.
∎ Throughout the audit, it is important to bring senior management, directors, and the auditee up to date on all issues, concerns, and suggestions. To take the helm of the audit team and oversee timely, effective auditing.
∎ In charge of clearly outlining all significant/important problems of concern/opportunities for process improvement and making suggestions that produce positive change in the audit report.
∎ To examine the auditors' audit working papers and confirm that the audit working files are comprehensive, correctly indexed, and cross-referenced.
∎ To design, coordinate, and lead workshops on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Control Self-Assessment (CSA).
∎ Based on the risk and controls evaluation completed, the strategic data obtained during the execution of audit engagements, and discussions with management and directors, audit subjects should be recommended for the yearly business plan.
∎ Manage audit guidelines and requirements and offer any necessary support. Recommends innovative methods and technologies to improve audit planning, implementation, and conduct.
∎ In charge of creating/updating the internal audit charter, rules, procedures, guidelines, and programs.
∎ Carry out any special investigations or assignments that senior management, directors recommend.
∎ Schedule and cancel visits to factories and offices for auditing purposes.
