Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ At least a Master's Degree in Gender & Development studies, Sociology, Rural development, Development studies, or related studies. A Master's Degree in related studies will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical guidance and advice to the programs management team on issues of gender and advocacy mainstreaming in projects.
∎ Network and maintain dialogue with relevant stakeholders e.g. Government Institutions, National and International Development Organizations to ensure collaboration, synergy and sharing of experiences on gender and advocacy issues.
∎ Conduct assessment and research activities at the community level to gather information and analysis on gender and advocacy issues.
∎ Track progress and provide data on gender and advocacy issues.
∎ Develop a plan to create awareness among staff and reference people on how to lead the documentation and sharing of lessons on advocacy and Gender best programming practices
∎ Conduct training workshops for relevant stakeholders, staff and Forum Network members on advocacy and Gender related topics;
∎ Support preparation and dissemination of information related to gender issues that are relevant to the value chain initiatives.
∎ Support the monitoring, evaluation and reporting on gender mainstreaming by ensuring the collection of relevant information and formulation of indicators that are sensitive to gender.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4 year's proven and progressive experience working on Advocacy, gender and women empowerment issues.
∎ Ability to build the capacity of staff and stakeholders to deliver advocacy work.
∎ Minimum of 5 years' work experience in a gender development field.
∎ Programme budget planning and accountability experience.
∎ Experience in gender and advocacy education and awareness raising, policy influencing and community mobilization.
∎ Experience in programme/project monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Experience in using community development participatory methodologies
∎ Planning and organising skills.
∎ Networking skills.
∎ Experience in organizing advocacy meeting at national level and regional level.
∎ Efficient in speaking and writing skills in English.
∎ Effective communication and standard report writing skills.
∎ Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Salary: Tk. 55000 - 65000 (Monthly)
