• Candidates with working experience in hospitals will be given preferences

• Previous experience as a Fire & Safety Trainer will be an added advantage

Responsibilities & Context:

• Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive fire safety and general safety policies, plans, and procedures.

• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments of hospital premises and equipment to identify potential hazards.

• Organize and conduct fire drills, evacuation drills, and safety training programs for staff, volunteer groups, and emergency response teams.

• Ability to lead fire safety teams and manage crises.

• Inspect, maintain, and ensure the functionality of all fire safety systems and equipment (fire extinguishers, hydrants, smoke detectors, sprinklers, alarms).

• Liaise with external fire services, regulatory bodies, and security agencies.

• Supervise security guards and utility staff, ensuring adherence to fire and safety protocols.

• Provide regular awareness sessions to promote a culture of safety among all employees.

• Perform any other fire & safety-related duties assigned by management.

• Strong communication skills to train, motivate, and build awareness among hospital staff.

• Strong problem-solving and documentation/reporting skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and compliance documentation.
