Job Context:
∎ Financial Analyst (Contract)/ Work from Home:
∎ We are looking for an ‘Entry Level Financial Analyst’ (FA) who has proven knowledge of developing project profile, financial data analysis, budget forecasting, RoI calculation, etc. The FA will be reporting to our CEO. This is a great opportunity for a result-oriented self-starter who is confident in defending his/her critical thinking to engage with and influence top management teams.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Attend meeting and take notes and based on the notes develop project profiles, presentation materials
∎ Develop ‘Strategic Planning Documents’ based on the directions from the management
∎ Develop ‘Management Reporting Doc’
∎ Perform ‘Financial Analysis’ of futuristic projects
∎ Capital Planning
∎ Develop highly-complex, multi-level models (e.g., new products, fresh markets, new business)
∎ REQUIREMENTS
∎ Bachelor’s degree in finance, BBA
∎ 4th year student with proper aptitude can apply for part time
∎ Microsoft office suite
∎ Advanced user of SQL and Excel
∎ Good to Have
∎ Financial model builder/creator – doer (build from ground up)
∎ Scenarios – how do different levers interact within the model
∎ Assumptions – excellent with documentation
∎ Multiple dependent variables
∎ Testing/Back testing
∎ Financial forecasting/planning
∎ P&L reporting
∎ Sensitivity Analysis
∎ Cash Flow Analysis
∎ Curiosity in all aspects of business and processes
∎ Building reporting packages managing both financial and non-financial metrics
∎ Accounting
∎ Other business units
∎ Flexible, quick and adaptive
∎ Business acumen (not just a numbers cruncher) with an understanding of accounting, finance theory, data sources and definitions, modeling, creative problem solving and the economics of the business
∎ Ability to prepare reports and/or make presentations
∎ Ability to synthesize information to create conclusions, alternatives and recommendations
∎ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ COMPENSATION
∎ It is initially a short-term contract and has the possibility of extension
