∎ Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) and Master's in Commerce (preferably in Finance/Accounting).
∎ BBA and MBA (major in Finance/ Accountancy).
∎ CA. CC/ ACCA partly qualified will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ NETZ is looking for a highly competent and dynamic Finance Officer for its Bangladesh Office (BO). The Finance Officer will be responsible for keeping accounts and finance monitoring of the projects of the organisation. S/he will be guided by the Finance Manager of NETZ BO.
∎ Job Nature: Full-time; Direct report to the Finance Manager.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with periodic field visit (at least 60 working days in a year).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and Maintain Accounting tasks of BO.
∎ Organise invoices and related documents of transactions being made at BO.
∎ Give entry in accounting software.
∎ Conduct periodic finance monitoring of expenses being made at PNGO and check compliance issue.
∎ Prepare periodic reports of projects of NETZ BO.
∎ Assist the Finance Manager to deal with the internal/external audit as and when required.
∎ Make useful suggestions to the Finance Manager and Team Leader to take necessary actions to minimize the project costs both at the PNGO and NETZ BO level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Two years in any reputed national/ international NGOs in similar position. Persons with good results in academic exams from reputed University, personal motivation to contribute to development work without any experience may apply for the position.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Salary Range: Up to BDT 50,000 per month (negotiable to competent candidates)
