Job Context:
∎ iDE Bangladesh is looking for a qualified "Field Coordinator" for the anticipated enterprise development project. The Field Coordinator will be responsible for field office management, administration, finance, coordination, communication and successful implementation of the project to achieve the project objectives. He/she will supervise and oversee tasks of field employees, provide appropriate guidelines to the field staff and ensure everyone works effectively. He/She will maintain field rules and policies, evaluate the performance of the field staff, respond to on-call tasks and responsibilities, handle the needs and concerns of the field staff and also give them support. He/She will lead in planning and provide operational guidance to field teams and other stakeholders to achieve best results. He/She will monitor progress of field interventions. He/She will represent the project at multiple levels, maintain stakeholder relationships with the private/public sectors, partners, local government, media personnel, enterprises, manufacturers, suppliers, and the community. He/She will regularly support monitoring and evaluation (M&E), manage donor funds, and prepare financial and other relevant reports in line with donor requirements and iDE regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The responsibilities of the Field Coordinator include but are not limited to the descriptions below.
∎ Ensure effective execution of the project interventions/activities under the area of field office that will include supervision of project staff, administration and coordination with stakeholders, relevant market actors, public and private organizations
∎ Ensure program implementation through results-based management, good coordination and communication amongst the team members implementing different activities and also implementing realistic and consistent work plans established in consultation with the program team
∎ Maintain budgetary control of expenditure and prepare financial reports in line with donor requirements and iDE regulations
∎ Support the finance team in reviewing monthly financial expenses and Receipt and Payment maintaining the organizational policy
∎ Ensure appropriate, effective and efficient utilization of resources, logistics and project materials to field staff and others, following the iDE-B administrative, financial, vehicle and other policies and regulations properly.
∎ Assist Project Manager in program oversight, technical, administrative, operational, and logistical management of the activity
∎ S/he will provide leadership in planning and implementation of field operation by building and motivating team members to achieve the results adhering to the milestones;
∎ Establish and develop relationships with Private Sector actors and Business Development Services (BDS) providers to identify and promote enterprise development Lead in planning, market assessment and programmatic guidance for the project staff, partners, and other stakeholders according to project guidelines and donor requirements;
∎ Oversee project monitoring & evaluation and ensure adherence to reporting requirements; Monitor progress and capturing best practices, critical analysis and generate reports as required; provide feedback to the field team and updates the iDE senior management team and project manager regularly
∎ Facilitate to promote the positive image of the project initiatives through capacity building, employment creation including generating support from local & national stakeholders and connecting with local media
∎ Prepare field progress report and other reports regularly, document the key learning & findings.

Additional Requirements:
∎ A successful Field Coordinator will have the following skills and experience and will be comfortable with the following conditions.
∎ Work Experience:
∎ Minimum 7 years of work experience in implementing market development projects with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial position.
∎ Key Competencies:
∎ Ability to manage financial and administrative systems, excellent project management skills, leadership and operational capabilities which have resulted in the achievement of targets.
∎ Considerable understanding and knowledge of rural markets, trading relationships, rural service provision, Market value chain approaches to market development, sub-sector analysis, the role of the private sector, government and civil society/NGOs in creating an effective service market.
∎ Prior experience working in the context of various donor-funded agricultural development projects.
∎ Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders including government agencies, research and private sector service providers.
∎ High quality of written and spoken both Bangla and English with an ability to produce regular qualitative narrative reports.
∎ Proficient user of computer software (i.e. MS Office, Google apps etc.).
∎ Self-reliant, ability to work independently and effectively in a multi-cultural environment and willing to work under pressure in remote areas.
∎ Personal Qualities:
∎ Self-motivated, energetic and team player.
∎ Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think creatively and encourage field staff to take initiative.
∎ Prepared to undertake frequent field visits and extensive travel.
∎ Ability to adapt and work with all genders, religions, nationalities and ages.
∎ Other Information and Conditions:
∎ FC must agree to be a regular staff of iDE.
∎ Remuneration package, workdays and deliverables might be changed based on negotiation among iDE management and the contract.
∎ iDE reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time with the consultation of the employee as per HR policy.

Salary:
∎ BDT 98,800 to 107,961(with other organization benefits)
