∎ As the Knit Products Fashion Designer Team Lead, you will oversee the creative and technical aspects of knitwear design within the fashion design department. You will lead a team of designers, ensuring the creation of innovative, high-quality knitwear collections that align with the brand’s aesthetic and market trends. ∎ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of knitwear designers.
∎ Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
∎ Provide regular feedback and professional development opportunities for team members.
∎ Design and Development:
∎ Oversee the conceptualization and design of knitwear collections.
∎ Ensure designs align with the brand’s identity and market trends.
∎ Collaborate with the product development team to ensure the feasibility and quality of designs.
∎ Trend Analysis and Research:
∎ Conduct market research and analyze fashion trends to inform design decisions.
∎ Attend fashion shows, trade fairs, and other industry events to stay updated on current trends.
∎ Technical Expertise:
∎ Utilize advanced knitwear design techniques and software.
∎ Oversee the creation of detailed technical sketches, patterns, and specifications.
∎ Ensure the technical accuracy and quality of all knitwear products.
∎ Collaboration and Communication:
∎ Work closely with other departments, including marketing, production, and sales, to ensure cohesive product development.
∎ Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely and quality production.
∎ Quality Control:
