Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Our Company is looking for an experienced, hardworking, dedicated and honest Designer who has sound knowledge of Furniture design.Study, research and plan various styles of furniture & door design. Find ways to improve furniture items already manufactured. Stay informed about design trends and developments. Select suitable materials, which might include wood, metal and MFC Board. Discuss designs with clients or manufacturers for a custom order Generate sample designs using computer-aided design (CAD), card models, sketches, or hard prototypes. Use software packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid Works and Photoshop. Prepare detailed final designs. Communicate with craftsmen or production department staff (such as production managers, marketing staff and design engineers) about the process of construction or manufacture. Evaluate issues such as pricing and fixing costs, fashion, purchasing, safety, materials and manufacturing methods and techniques. Use various tools to complete projects from raw materials to finished furniture items. Organize plans and schedules with respect to the availability of resources. Attend workshops, seminars and training on various types of manufacturing and furniture design. Concept, Plan, Elevation and Section with Detail Working drawing for production. Drafting the drawings as required Any Other Design related duties assigned by Principal Architect or Management. Site visits to follow up on ongoing projects. Market survey for Material quality selection. Take into account size, shape, ergonomics and production methods when producing design ideas Prepare production drawings and detailed final designs Making document BOM, Boring, operation, kit list and Assemble. To do interior design of home & office space.
