Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Review vendor bills, invoices, and supporting documents to ensure proper authorization, classification, and accuracy.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly audit schedules, including surprise audits and special investigations.
Report audit findings with root cause analysis and recommend process improvements or risk mitigation measures.
Maintain detailed documentation of audit processes, observations, and corrective action plans.
Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and relevant departments to verify data and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure all audit work complies with organizational policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
