Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors / Masters in any discipline from a reputed university.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Fire Safety
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Inspecting and testing fire detection, protection and fire separation systems such as alarms, sprinklers, hydrants, detectors & control panels, fire door, curtain, and damper to ensure that they are functioning properly.
∎ Performing regular maintenance tasks for faulty detectors, input out module, cleaning various detectors and sprinkler heads, various valve’s, gauge, fire pumps, electric and diesel driver, fire door’s accessories.
∎ Ensuring aisle marking, necessary exit & direction signage is in place properly and fire extinguishers are properly charged and located.
∎ He should be able to do troubleshooting, diagnose the problem of the detection, protection and separation system and make repairs as necessary.
∎ Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, maintenance tasks, and repairs performed on fire detection, protection and separation systems. These records are used to document compliance with relevant codes and regulations and to track the history of the system.
∎ Work closely with facility managers, maintenance department, fire department personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure that the system is properly installed and maintained.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Excellent team player, independent, self-motivated & result oriented.
∎ Knowledge of Bangladesh Fire prevention Act.
∎ Excellent communication in written & spoken English.
∎ Knowledge of MS Office
∎ Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
