MBBS degree from a recognized medical college
Postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO) or EOC training certification
Registration with Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) is mandatory
Requirements:

Proven experience in performing caesarean sections and managing obstetric emergencies

Job Responsibilities:
RTMI is seeking a dedicated and experienced EOC-Trained (OBGYN) Doctor to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological services at the Government 20-bed Hospital in Bhasanchar. The incumbent will lead the management of routine and high-risk pregnancies, perform caesarean sections and gynaecological surgeries, and promote maternal health and family planning in coordination with a multidisciplinary health team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide treatment for obstetric and gynecological patients.
Deliver antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, including vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections.
Manage high-risk pregnancies and complications, coordinating referrals as needed.
Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries, ensuring safety and quality standards.
Administer emergency obstetric care (EOC), including the management of obstetric complications.
Educate patients on family planning, reproductive health, and safe motherhood.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all patients.
Supervise and support junior medical staff, midwives, and interns.
Collaborate with nursing staff, anesthetists, and other departments to ensure efficient care.
Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as required.
Engage in community outreach programs promoting maternal health and family planning awareness.
Uphold patient dignity, privacy, and RTMI’s Code of Conduct at all times.
Participate in quality improvement activities and clinical audits.
Stay current with scientific literature, protocols, and EOC guidelines.
Contribute to research initiatives and support professional development activities.
Assist hospital and project management with monitoring and reporting as required.
Work closely with the Civil Surgeon’s Office and government counterparts for effective service delivery.
Perform any other duties assigned by RTMI authority.
